Reddit Plans to Launch Native Promoted Post Ads on Its iOS Next Week

Reddit is bringing native promoted post ads in its mobile apps. More details available in the following contents. BTW, you can also get top app rank boosting service here if you need to boost your app ranking.

The company said in an email to advertisers that its apps are the most popular way its 330 million monthly active users access Reddit content on mobile, and they now account for 41 percent of time spent on Reddit across all platforms. Logged-in app users also spend 30 percent more time per day than users who log in from desktop, and 80 percent of app users don't access Reddit on desktop, according to the company.

The mobile ad posts should integrate into the existing Reddit experience, with the ability to upvote, downvote, and comment. Previously, users were not able to comment on mobile ads. Advertisers will be able to target their ads based upon user interest, subreddit, location, device, and time of day.

This isn't the first time Reddit offered promoted posts. Users and advertisers have been able to promote posts on Reddit's desktop site since 2016. Reddit shared that its in-app ads will enable the same targeting as their desktop ones -- by interest, community, geography and device. Mobile promoted posts will include upvotes, downvotes and comments.

Reddit announced this feature will start for iOS on March 19th. And it will available on Android within the next few weeks. Keep your eyes for more related news. Besides that, our professional ASO team can also offer you app store optimization services to boost app rank. We won't let you down!
